We are seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries & medical conditions for athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician
  • Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, covering school athletic events and practices
  • Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes
  • Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques to decrease the risk of injury
  • Maintain proper lines of communication to ensure athletes receive optimal care within the sports medicine team
  • Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, and provide basic life support
  • Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company
Qualifications
  • BS Degree REQUIRED, Masters degree preferred
  • National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Applicable state license where required
