Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and heating.
  • Plan and execute installations in compliance with local codes, ensuring successful inspections on the first attempt.
  • Engage with customers on-site, delivering an exceptional installation experience.
  • Ensure all jobs are organized and complete, and verify installation checklists.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve field issues.
  • Exhibit honesty, reliability, and professionalism, representing the company positively.
  • Organize and categorize inventory to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicate the advantages of maintenance contracts to clients, ensuring longevity of their systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to safeguard customer investments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant installation experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
  • Possession of personal tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of layout, design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Basic understanding of sheet metal fitting fabrication.
  • Ability to start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and condensing units.
  • Strong grasp of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a creative problem-solving mindset.
  • Capability to mentor entry-level personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or vocational degree in a related field.
  • Experience managing service and maintenance calls.
  • North Carolina Mechanical License.
  • NATE Certification.
