Job Title: Forklift Engineer/Building Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer/Building Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing MHE equipment on-site and at customer locations, handling administrative tasks, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing solutions to queries from customers on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair MHE equipment on-site and at customer locations
  • Handle administrative tasks
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your client
  • Provide solutions to queries from customers on site, liaising with the hire desk where required
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites
  • Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable way

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
  • Work under limited supervision, monitor building system operations and performance. Utilize several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.
  • Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning. Performs assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years of experience
  • H.S Diploma or Equivalent
  • Top Nice to have Skills:
    • Universal CFC certification is Preferred
    • Universal EPA license is Preferred
    • Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair is preferred
