Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Educated Solutions Corp. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our industrial equipment and building systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily rounds and readings to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Utilize trade skills such as carpentry, painting, and heating and cooling
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety
  • Complete maintenance and repair records as required
  • Review and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs
  • Order necessary materials and supplies
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintain lighting systems and perform carpentry and furniture assembly tasks as needed
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide vendor escorts as needed

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with a good technical background
  • Experience with electrical and HVAC systems
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to wear a respirator and work in a leaded facility

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in property management or data entry related to property management
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads
