Job Summary:

The ERP Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for our business ERP system (Prophet 21). This individual will provide expert-level support to users at all levels to navigate through the application and achieve their business objectives. They will also assist in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining data processing solutions to enhance the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, document, and resolve technical issues related to the P21 application and business processes.
  • Provide in-person, telephone, or remote technical assistance to P21 system users.
  • Answer questions and resolve problems through the IT ticketing system; triage inbound support tickets.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the ERP system.
  • Develop and provide ad-hoc training as requested by management.
  • Work closely with the Operational Excellence team to create or update P21 business process documentation.
  • Assist with projects related to P21.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reports to the ERP Support Manager (or VP of Information Technology).

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in Epicor's Prophet 21 ERP System.
  • Fundamental understanding of branch operations.
  • Proficient in standard office software tools (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate, adaptable, customer-focused, and teamwork-oriented.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
