Position Overview:
Adelphi Medical Staffing is in search of dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to collaborate with essential team members, including regional instructional leaders and educators, to enhance student success in educational settings across Texas. Ideal candidates will possess at least one year of experience in pediatric and/or school-based environments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders
  • Valid Texas License as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric and/or school-based experience
  • Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish, is advantageous
  • Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities:
  • Review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) crafted by the Supervising SLP and the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee
  • Execute the treatment plan or IEP by applying therapeutic techniques
  • Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance
  • Utilize appropriate stimuli and prompts to encourage desired behaviors as outlined in the treatment protocol
  • Deliver culturally relevant treatment materials and behavioral reinforcement
  • Track students' therapy and academic progress
  • Implement specified treatment objectives/goals in a structured manner
  • Maintain accurate Therapy Notes, Tracking Logs, and Billing Records
  • Monitor and document students' progress to complete necessary reports
