Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Afterschool Educator to join our team at Learn It Academic Services. As a Title I Teacher, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education services to students in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students and develop effective instructional plans.
  • Plan and deliver instruction in a small group setting, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote academic success.
  • Administer pre and post assessments to track student progress and data, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
  • Provide a safe and positive learning environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school personnel to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
Requirements
  • Active Teacher Certification preferred
  • Experience working with Title I students a plus
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs
  • Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head
  • Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
