Position Overview

The role of the Financial Manager encompasses the execution of intricate analyses and the formulation of strategic plans, including budgetary frameworks and timelines, to fulfill contractual obligations for designated segments of a program.
Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Financial Manager include:

  • Conducting detailed analyses and crafting plans that encompass budgets and timelines to satisfy contractual/project obligations for a specific segment of a program.
  • Acting as a principal technical authority on financial analysis matters, challenges, and specialized initiatives.
  • Engaging in the investigation, establishment, and clarification of program plan requirements; preparing comprehensive narratives to substantiate budget estimates and overseeing execution.
  • Facilitating interdepartmental collaboration on program plans and liaising with vendors and clients as necessary; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure compliance with contractual, cost, and scheduling objectives.
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial and operational data.
  • Conducting studies related to program planning.
  • Overseeing junior financial analysts and providing leadership by defining program plan requirements.
  • Participating in the establishment and clarification of program plan requirements.
  • Coordinating, negotiating, and resolving financial compliance matters with various governmental entities to ensure accurate interpretation of contract stipulations.
  • Interfacing with senior management in response to requests for financial information.
  • Presenting program/project budget estimates, projections, shortfalls, overages, funding types, etc.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to deploy to various countries and/or theaters to provide rapid technical support to military forces worldwide during contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Capability to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous, and quality support to relevant customers and affiliates.
