Our Commitment to Care

Our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in serving our patients. Their responsibilities include:

  • Administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining related medical records.
  • Presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures.
  • Taking vital signs or observing patients to detect response to medication, and reporting reactions.
  • Restocking medication inventories.
  • Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations, and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
