Job Summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Women's Health Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Women's Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in providing direct patient care and health teaching.
  • Deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service and participating in a team-centered approach towards patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Physician and nursing staff regarding patient care, holistic care involving patient families, and proficiency in order entry.
  • Provide clerical and patient-related support in the functional areas of record keeping, scheduling, and utilizing knowledge of office policy and procedure.
  • Verify patient demographics, patient record filing and retention, verification of physician orders, and scheduling patients for appointments and referrals.
  • Prepare patients for exams, patient billing and payments, meet and greet patients, and maintain office supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience in direct patient care preferred.
  • Prefer experience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • BLS / CPR certification.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills.
