Your Responsibilities as an Operations Supervisor

In this role, you will oversee the overall operations of our business:

  • You will foster relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • You will support a positive workplace culture by addressing staff issues and ensuring team members receive necessary training.
  • You will manage safety training, equipment upkeep, payroll processes, service completion, scheduling, and reporting to the owner.
  • You will effectively implement franchise systems throughout the organization.
  • You will handle various personnel functions, including hiring, promotions, and scheduling for field staff.

Measuring Success

Your performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Attendance: Setting a strong example for the team.
  • Budget vs Actual Hours: Ensuring profitability through effective time management.
  • Return Rates: Maintaining quality control to minimize rework.
  • Crew Retention: Creating a supportive environment to reduce turnover.
  • Customer Retention: Building lasting relationships through exceptional service.
  • Utilization of Software & Processes: Ensuring all systems are effectively employed.

Qualifications for Operations Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong work ethic and the ability to engage with both the public and team members. You should be familiar with operating and maintaining lawn care equipment.

Additionally, you must be willing to obtain any necessary certifications and licenses within a specified timeframe.

A clean driving record and experience with towing trailers are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $80K, depending on your experience in lawn care or landscaping and team leadership.
