Canon Solutions America, a frontrunner in technology and service solutions, is on the lookout for a Field Service Technician IV. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support to our esteemed clients, leveraging extensive product knowledge and technical proficiency in Canon-supported products.

Your Contributions

We are seeking a skilled professional to:

  • Identify and resolve mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established protocols.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on designated equipment in accordance with Canon standards.
  • Compile reports for analyzing product failure trends and serviceability issues, ensuring thorough documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Exceed customer expectations by providing prompt, accurate, and efficient maintenance services.
  • Maintain all technical documentation, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property, while guiding junior engineers.
  • Address escalated technical and customer service issues for any assigned territory.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of multiple product lines at an expert level, encompassing all aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Candidate Profile: Skills & Qualifications

This is a customer-facing role that requires adherence to customer policies, which may include health and safety protocols.

We are looking for a committed individual with:

  • A combination of general education and/or vocational training, typically 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience as a field technician.
  • The ability to meet or surpass performance standards for technical quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to travel as needed.
  • The capability to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift work and on-call responsibilities.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary security clearances required for customer site access.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and remain active for over 50% of the time (walking, standing, kneeling).
