Job Title: Field Service Technician

Marvin is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing post-sales support for Marvin windows and doors, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional, timely communication with customers and Marvin Replacement support staff.
  • Efficiently manage time, plan routes, and schedule service jobs to meet our service goals and customer needs.
  • Document jobsites clearly and concisely to facilitate timely closure of service requests.
  • Operate company-provided vehicles and utilize company-provided laptops or iPads.
Requirements:
  • Dependable work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Excellent social skills, including the ability to deliver difficult messages and manage customer expectations.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to think outside the box to resolve service issues.
  • Ability to make sound decisions impacting the company financially.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle weekly work schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with installing replacement windows and doors.
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 75 pounds and climbing ladders and scaffolding.
