About Texas Family Initiative
We are looking for a full-time Permanency Case Manager to assist our community's most vulnerable children and families. This role requires an accredited Bachelor's Degree and a Valid Driver's License. Our comprehensive 13-week training program includes mentorship and various learning opportunities, including fieldwork, in-office training, and classroom sessions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Permanency Case Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and guidance to families navigating the foster care system.
  • Promoting the achievement of permanency for children under the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS.
  • Collaborating with biological parents to identify and access necessary services.
  • Conducting monthly home visits and attending court hearings.
  • Engaging with community stakeholders and resources to foster lasting partnerships.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate empathy, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to helping families during challenging times. The ideal candidate will advocate for parents, caregivers, and children in foster care, ensuring they have the best opportunities for achieving family permanency.
