Job Overview

Raleigh Divorce Law Firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate to support our growing practice.


Compensation Package

We offer an aggressive compensation package commensurate with experience, estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and performance.


Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law procedures and local court rules, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting legal research on various family law issues
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery requests
  • Assisting other attorneys in trial preparation and case management
  • Communicating with clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining organized case files and documentation in accordance with Firm protocols
  • Representing clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in NC
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Family Law Associate
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Litigation experience and ability to effectively represent clients in the courtroom
