Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the pharmaceutical pipeline and analyze emerging therapies to inform and forecast their impact on the business.
  • Work closely with business and clinical partners to provide strategic insights and recommendations on pipeline impacts.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of pharmaceutical trends and spend, and translate this knowledge into financial impact for the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corporate communications and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues, working under minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managed care pharmacy, with a focus on forecasting and pipeline analysis.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical trends and spend.
  • Active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Project.
