Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Programmer to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing complex queries, creating reports, predictive models, and data visualizations using Tableau, Evisions ARGOS, and Ellucian (ERP) (Banner).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data warehouse solutions to support institutional level surveys and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain reporting specifications to meet institutional needs.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on data analytics platforms.
  • Assist with the creation of reports and data from the Banner database for internal, state, federal, and accreditation needs.
  • Support the Director of Institutional Research & Assessment in handling requests for information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Master's degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience using SQL programming.
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in data analysis programming, or a combination of work.
Working Conditions
  • Sedentary work with occasional exertion of up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel and extended work hours.
