We are seeking a skilled designer to join our team as a Visual Standards Specialist, responsible for shaping the visual standards for the state and leading the evolution and management of our design system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design System Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our design system.
  • Design Projects: Create interactive prototypes for websites, products, and components, refining designs based on user testing, feedback, and usability data.
  • Guiding External Designers: Promote our user experience philosophy, guidelines, and best practices for design system components to external designers.
  • Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of design guidelines, patterns, and standards.
  • Culture of Collaboration and Feedback: Foster a culture of open discussion, design reviews, and feedback from both internal and external teams.
  • Inclusive Design Practices: Ensure the design system adheres to accessibility standards and meets the needs of diverse users.

Skill Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, UXPin, Adobe XD.
  • Portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design skills.
  • 2+ years of experience working with design systems.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
