Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care in post-acute facilities as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Collaborating with physicians and staff to discuss care options and monitor outcomes
  • Creating care plans in conjunction with medical personnel and residents
  • Setting up and overseeing medical equipment
  • Collecting samples for laboratory analysis
  • Administering treatments and medications as prescribed
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility protocols
  • Engaging with residents and their families to determine optimal care strategies
  • Supervising and mentoring nursing staff as necessary
  • Documenting patient histories and interventions accurately
  • Assisting with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Florida state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 4 months experience in post-acute or inpatient care
  • Strong organizational abilities
