We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a leader in patient care, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in our Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team during designated shifts.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS ACLS required in the following units: Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, Telemetry, Oncology, Float Pool, Cath Lab, ER, Free Standing ERs, CVCU, CVICU, SICU, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery.
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: ER and Free Standing ER.
- TNCC required in Free Standing ERs.
- NRP required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Mother/Baby, Nursery, and NICU.
- CPI required within 3 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Behavioral Health, Progressive Care, ER, and Free Standing ERs.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
