Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Wealth Management Business Data Operation Team. This individual contributor role will report directly to the Chief Data Officer and will be responsible for improving data quality across the Wealth Management division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT partners to ensure effective data management
  • Analyze large datasets and perform root cause analysis to identify process breakdowns and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified issues
  • Document recommendations and facilitate the implementation of mitigation activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in financial services, with a focus on data governance and management
  • Strong knowledge of data governance and management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Technical skills, including SQL and data analysis tools
