About the Role

VetJobs is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and governing master data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure quality data and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and data cleansing activities to identify data discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data management and recommend solutions to enhance data accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and support business processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP, HANA, MDG, BOBJ, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data management within the CPG industry.
  • Strong SAP technical expertise and experience.
