Job Overview

At Primrose School of Silicon Forest, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young students, fostering a love of learning, and helping them develop essential skills for future success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum and ensure seamless classroom operations
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom that encourages children to explore, create, and learn
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational research and best practices to continuously improve teaching methods and student outcomes
Requirements
  • A strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community
  • A CDA or an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or minimum of 1-3 years of classroom/teaching experience
  • Ability to manage a classroom of 8 toddlers, 10 two-year-olds, or 20 Preschoolers with a co-teacher
  • Safe sleep certification required or willingness to obtain one
  • CPR & First certification required or willingness to obtain one
  • Active Central Background Registry (CBR) enrollment requirement
