Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Arkansas Hospice, Inc., you will be responsible for delivering compassionate patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
  • Document patient assignments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a nursing assistant training program preferred.
  • Previous experience in direct patient care, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required.
