**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Unity Health. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Access Coordinator will be responsible for performing all outpatient and inpatient registration functions, including hospital cashiering and insurance verification. They will also ensure that patients meet financial requirements, provide general information to hospital users, patients, and families, and communicate effectively with service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to accurately type 25-30 words per minute. You will also need to pass a clerical examination and demonstrate mastery of Patient Access Services computer applications after training.

Benefits:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Working Conditions:

The Patient Access Coordinator will work in a busy healthcare environment, with moderate physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. They will also need to have good visual and hearing discrimination, and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.
