Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Unity Health. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care under the guidance and direction of the RN and LPN.
In this role, you will implement components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental, spiritual, and social needs; comfort and safety measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid needs; and elimination needs.
You will also be responsible for maintaining an environment that is neat and free of hazards to the patient's well-being, while adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with personal hygiene needs and observe their condition, including vital signs, feeding and elimination patterns.
- Perform duties for direct and indirect patient care, including general housekeeping skills and ordering and maintenance of supplies.
- Implement components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental, spiritual, and social needs.
This is a Nights position, requiring availability on weekends and holidays. The shift is 6pm-6am.
