Job Overview: This position is focused on assisting with the licensing and re-licensing processes for both relative and non-relative kinship placements within case management.
- Conduct initial licensing home assessments for prospective relative and non-relative placements.
- Perform annual re-licensing home assessments for all homes that are level one licensed.
- Facilitate mandatory training sessions for level one licensure and re-licensure.
- Ensure prompt submission of home assessments to the licensing department at ChildNet.
- Provide ongoing support to both licensed relatives and non-relatives.
- Work collaboratively with Kinship Support Specialists to resolve any arising issues.
- Supply essential information for both initial licensure and re-licensure processes.
- Assist in identifying natural support systems for caregiving responsibilities.
- Document all case activities in FSFN within a 48-hour timeframe.
- Engage in discussions aimed at enhancing level one licensure practices.
- Carry out additional assigned responsibilities as necessary.
- At least 2 years of experience in Human Services or Child Welfare programs.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline.
- Certification as a Child Welfare Professional.
