Job Summary

The Foreign Exchange Advisor is a critical role within our organization, responsible for providing primary oversight for daily trading, cover, and settlements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading Oversight: Verify and validate daily trading activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Currency Management: Monitor and manage nostro account balances, ensuring optimal currency positioning and minimizing risk.
  • Client Communication: Interact with internal and external clients, providing expert guidance on foreign exchange matters and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze periodic revenue and regulatory reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with internal partners to investigate reconciliation outages and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years of exposure to foreign exchange.
  • Skills: Analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a preferred concentration in International Finance.
