Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Global Cost Accounting and Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the corporate consolidation of cost accounting, reporting, and analytical functions.

Key responsibilities encompass the global consolidation of accounting and reporting related to Gross Profit activities across various regions, conducting comprehensive analysis and reporting on global inventory, and preparing monthly elimination reviews of Transfer Profit. The Manager will also assist with diverse ad hoc projects and reporting requests.


KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Ensure the timely preparation and delivery of the monthly and quarterly Gross Profit and Inventory Reporting package to senior management. This package includes detailed analysis and reporting on Gross Profit and Inventory metrics.

Collaborate with team members to facilitate timely reviews and analyses of Gross Profit for Herbalife entities worldwide at the consolidated level, integrating significant findings into global reporting.

Manage the global intercompany Transfer Pricing accounting to ensure accurate elimination of Transfer Profit related to product distribution across various regions.

Identify and mitigate corporate-level reporting and operational risks.

Assist in the preparation of 10Q/10K Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and related footnotes on Inventory and Gross Profit.
Update the monthly and quarterly Inventory fluctuation summary, providing explanations for any changes.

Identify and communicate key factors influencing variations in Gross Profit rates, including the impact of foreign exchange rate fluctuations, price adjustments, sourcing cost changes, and other business factors.

Lead the monthly updates of Gross Profit models and conduct trend analyses.
Adapt and refine Gross Profit and Inventory models to reflect business changes.
Provide support for ad hoc projects as required and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

TEAM DYNAMICS:


This position is part of the global cost accounting team, engaging with regional cost accounting teams across multiple countries. Responsibilities also include collaboration with regional controllership teams, Supply Chain management, Global Purchasing, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams. The cost accounting team is committed to delivering value-added analysis and streamlining processes wherever feasible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven accounting expertise combined with strong analytical capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Detail-oriented, self-driven, and adept at prioritizing tasks.
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in inventory or cost accounting.
Proficient in all MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with skills in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced functions.
Experience with leading ERP software (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP).

SUPERVISORY ROLE:


This position will oversee a supervisor based in a regional office who will assist the Manager in their functional responsibilities.


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS/BA/BBA).
