Job Summary

Bags, a leading provider of airport services, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Baggage Handler to join our team. As a Baggage Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of baggage for our airline partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer checked luggage in and out of cargo vans/trucks
  • Assist with verifying that luggage is properly tagged and secured
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their baggage is handled with care and attention to detail
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facility manager

Requirements

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Complete all required training, including airport compliance
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lift up to 75lbs
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Appearance Guidelines

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes adhering to the company's dress code and grooming standards.

  • Men must be clean shaven, with the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee
  • Facial hair must be neatly trimmed at one-fourth of an inch in length
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed
  • Clean and well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shift

Working Conditions

The Baggage Handler will work in a fast-paced airport environment, with frequent exposure to noise, crowds, and varying weather conditions. The ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly is required.
