Job Title: Off-Site Airline Check-in Baggage Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Off-Site Airline Check-in Baggage Handler to join our team at Bags. As a Baggage Handler, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their baggage, sorting and tagging luggage based on its destination and departure time, and ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Transfer checked luggage in and out of cargo vans/trucks
  • Verify that luggage is properly tagged and secured
  • Provide exceptional customer service when handling baggage
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facility manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Complete all required training, including airport compliance
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lift up to 75lbs
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Appearance Guidelines:

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes clean and well-maintained uniforms, neat and trimmed facial hair, and no visible tattoos or body piercings.

Work Environment:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The employee must be able to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
