Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Baggage Handler to join our team at Bags. As a Baggage Handler, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their baggage, sorting and tagging luggage based on its destination and departure time, and ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transfer checked luggage in and out of cargo vans/trucks
  • Assist with verifying that luggage is properly tagged and secured
  • Ensure highest level of customer service when providing baggage handling services
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or facility manager
Requirements
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Complete all required training, including airport compliance
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lift up to 75lbs
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
Appearance Guidelines

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes clean and well-maintained approved uniforms, and adherence to the company's dress code policy.

Additional requirements may be specified by management.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The employee must be able to move quickly and efficiently, and have strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
