Job Title: Executive Chef

Oaks Senior Living, LLC is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at our newest community, Oaks at West Cobb located in Marietta, GA. This is a part-time position with an estimated hourly wage of $15-$18 based on experience.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and serving of food in accordance with federal and state regulations and the dietary program implemented by Oaks Senior Living policies and procedures. They will maintain a clean and sanitized dining service area and assist in the receiving, rotation, and storage of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the cooking and serving of food in accordance with nutritional guidelines, local health department regulations, and resident's individual prescribed diet and food preferences.
  • Assist with the delivery of quality meals, snacks, special diets as directed by the Food Service Director.
  • Prepare food and coordinate food service for special events as requested.
  • Notify Food Service Director or Lead Cook of any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances.

Requirements:
  • Experience in cooking for large groups.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Desire to work with older adults.
  • Friendly, caring disposition.
