About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Roadway and Bridge Inspection Professional to join our team in Virginia. As a key member of our Construction Engineering Inspection group, you will be responsible for ensuring construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $75,000 - $95,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Performing complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
  • Ensuring construction is completed according to the contract specifications; This includes monitoring each phase of work.
  • Providing on-site contract compliance inspection for roadway, structure, and bridge construction projects, schedule/budget monitoring, and quality assurance for projects.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of DOT Standard Specifications, Standard Drawings, and Construction Manual, and the ability to interpret and implement company-mandated safety policies.
