**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **General Manager Trainee** to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a **General Manager Trainee**, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading and developing a team of store employees, and driving sales growth and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide **Exceptional Customer Service**: Ensure that customers receive a positive and personalized shopping experience, addressing their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead and Develop a Team: Coach, mentor, and develop a team of store employees to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Drive Sales Growth and Profitability: Analyze sales data, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
  • Manage DIY Services: Provide leadership and guidance on DIY services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installation.
  • Manage Commercial Delivery Program: Assist in backing up operations of the commercial delivery program.

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 employees in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Successful experience managing profitability and proven financial and business acumen.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor's degree in business or a related area preferred.
  • ASE certification preferred, but not required.
