Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and Manage Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Invoice Review and Processing: Review, classify, and process invoices, refunds, and rebates for various departments, including CMLP, Broadband, Minuteman Media Network, and IT.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile invoices, gather supporting documentation, and prepare accounts payable cash reconciliation reports.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Assist in monthly closing, prepare financial reports, and analyze account-level details for year-end audit preparations.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding overdue payments, update vendor information, and perform the weekly check run.
  • Record-Keeping and Compliance: Maintain organized documentation for easy reconciliation of accounts payable batches and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (Munis and NISC iVue) and Windows Office software applications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, with at least one year of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong mathematical skills, excellent record-keeping abilities, and proficiency with personal computers and Windows Office software applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to maintain detailed records, communicate effectively with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
