About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our emergency department team at Grand River Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with physicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough physical examinations and gather pertinent medical information to inform diagnoses and treatment plans.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans in consultation with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Prescribe medications and recommend therapies based on established guidelines and evidence-based practices.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
  5. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and department efficiency.

Requirements:

  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification is highly desirable.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Active licensure as a physician assistant or certified registered nurse practitioner in the relevant specialty is mandatory.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive annual salary range: $120,000 - $150,000.
