Job Summary:
At Grand River Health, we are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Clinician to join our team. As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to assess patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data.
- Work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans and make informed decisions.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostic studies as necessary.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists to ensure seamless transitions and admissions.
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions based on established protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Qualifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in an emergency department or clinical setting is preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program is mandatory.
- Active licensure as a certified registered nurse practitioner in the relevant specialty is required.
Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year
