Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program and 0-1 years of experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
  • Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
  • Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
