This role offers a rare opportunity to join a highly respected organization with a proven track record in mental health advocacy. As Chief Development Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing annual fundraising efforts, ensuring the growth and sustainability of our philanthropic endeavors.


The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for motivating teams to meet ambitious goals. Experience in managing development teams, supervising staff, and driving successful major gift campaigns is essential.


We are seeking a results-driven individual who can analyze development initiatives, create comprehensive plans, and execute them effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, live video conferencing, and Donor Perfect or similar fundraising software is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans, budgets, and projections
  • Meet or exceed annual fund goals, as determined by the Board of Directors and CEO
  • Oversee the administration of our donor database, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of fundraising metrics
  • Lead corporate and foundation giving initiatives, securing new partnerships and cultivating existing relationships
  • Supervise members of the Development Department, providing guidance and support to achieve team objectives
  • Execute a comprehensive stewardship program, fostering long-term relationships with major donors

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • CFRE certification preferred
  • 5+ years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in social services
  • Major Gift Campaign experience and supervisory experience in motivating teams to meet goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, live video conferencing, and Donor Perfect or similar fundraising software

Salary: $100,000+
