Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and program industrial control systems, including PLCs, networks, drives, instrumentation, and control panels.
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley hardware, including MicroLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PanelView.
  • Develop and maintain PLC programs and HMI applications using FactoryTalk and RSLogix 5000.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including testing and refurbishing of PLC modules, HMI's, and other electrical hardware.
  • Assist with on-site start-up, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Support field technicians and equipment operators to solve equipment issues.
  • Manage inspection of existing electrical and controls equipment, design new electrical and controls equipment.
  • Develop mathematical models for system control, including calculation of control loop factors, timing of sequencing, scaling of sensor outputs, and signal conditioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience programming controls technologies using Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.
  • 5+ years of experience with panel design.
  • 3+ years of experience programming FactoryTalk PanelView and/or Proface HMI.
  • Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic, structured text, and VB scripting.
  • Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.

Travel Requirements

Travel may be required (up to 10%).
