Scope of WorkCurriculum Design and Development

We are seeking a skilled Curriculum Development Specialist to design and develop a comprehensive curriculum for our hybrid learning program. The successful candidate will conduct a thorough needs assessment with our stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives.

Module Creation

The curriculum will consist of a series of educational modules focusing on mental health, drug use, and healthcare navigation. Each module will be designed to promote understanding, empathy, and inclusivity, and will incorporate restorative justice principles to ensure a healing-focused approach.

Content Development

The successful candidate will design engaging, learner-centric instructional materials, including PowerPoint slides, visual aids, participant handouts, and facilitator guides. They will also create scenarios, role-plays, and interactive case studies to enhance the learning experience.

Hybrid Learning Platform Integration

The candidate will create content for both in-person and online delivery, ensuring flexibility for hybrid learning environments. They will also design an intuitive user experience for navigating the online modules and upload and organize the curriculum content on our designated online teaching platform.

Evaluation and Assessment

The successful candidate will develop pre- and post-assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and create feedback forms and mechanisms to capture participant insights and satisfaction. They will also provide a summary report on the curriculum's effectiveness, participant engagement, and recommendations for improvement.

Deliverables

The successful candidate will deliver a complete set of educational modules, accompanying PowerPoint slides, visual materials, and interactive content, facilitator guides, and learner handouts, as well as a final curriculum document including evaluation results and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in curriculum design for hybrid and online training programs, expertise in restorative justice principles, and familiarity with mental health, drug use, and healthcare navigation topics. The successful candidate will also have proficiency in online teaching platforms and educational technology, strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, and the ability to produce culturally sensitive and inclusive training materials.
