Business Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Freight Management Executive to join our team at Time Logistics, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in managed transportation and solutions.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating revenues by performing cold sales calls, sales trips, and maintaining full potential of active accounts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze customer freight spend opportunities.
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Generate Revenues by performing cold sales calls, sales trips, and maintaining full potential of active accounts.
- Recapture and keep qualified inactive accounts.
- Recognize qualified leads by analysis of shippers and consignees.
- Establish relationships and build a book of business.
Customer Service
- Maximize Customer and TLI Profit Potential by understanding pricing matrix and gathering detailed information about customer freight and shipping requirements.
- Follow up on all quote opportunities and request feedback if not awarded work.
- Ensure processes remain simple and efficient before presenting solutions to customers.
Analysis and Reporting
- Create and maintain detailed customer profiles.
- Analyze customer freight spend opportunities, including inbound and outbound freight.
- Assist the Business Development Department with generating and maintaining lead databases, travel arrangements, and sales and marketing ideas.
