About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Security Consultant to lead our team in designing, developing, implementing, and managing security solutions for enterprise SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform application security risk analyses and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Establish information assurance and security requirements based on user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
  • Support customers in the development and implementation of security policies, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze, design, and develop security features for system architectures, including SAP Central User Administration and configuration.
  • Create and maintain user/role/profile management for development and production environments, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.
  • Design, develop, and deliver information security policies across the organization, promoting a culture of security awareness and best practices.
  • Develop and implement SAP Security strategies, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple SAP Security full life cycle implementations from preparation to go-live and operation, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Interpret ABAP code to identify authorization requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient security configurations.
  • Manage users and authorization assignments across SAP and supporting systems, ensuring seamless access and security.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot security-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain operational and technical documentation of security processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance security and user experience, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Stay current with the latest SAP developments and security technologies, recommending and implementing best practices to ensure security and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management illustrating the effectiveness of security strategies post-implementation, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to SAP Security implementations, ensuring successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with SAP Security solutions, including ECC, BW, BI/BOBJ, CAMS, GRC, SCM, Sol Man, and PI.
  • Proven experience in deploying new SAP Security solutions, including system startup, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple SAP Security full life cycle implementations.
  • Ability to interpret ABAP code to identify authorization requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing users and authorization assignments across SAP and supporting systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Security-related tables and programs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certified
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
