Position Title: Gaming Product System Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Gaming Product System Engineer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence to become a vital part of our Gaming Solutions team at HP Development Company, L.P.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Gaming Product Managers to grasp emerging technologies in both hardware and software for gaming solutions.
  • Design and enhance Artificial Intelligence algorithms and systems to deliver immersive, engaging, and challenging gaming experiences.
  • Lead the development and launch of innovative products to meet customer needs.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in gaming AI, machine learning, and related technologies, while investigating new methods to improve the intelligence and responsiveness of game characters.
  • Create prototypes and iterate on gameplay concepts to enhance user engagement.
  • Conduct comprehensive product evaluations to ensure an exceptional gaming experience from the player's viewpoint.
  • Address challenges and collaborate with R&D to provide effective solutions for gaming products.
  • Oversee the introduction of gaming products to the market.
  • Engage with users and industry influencers through various platforms.
  • Stay informed about PC gaming trends and industry reviews.
  • Produce content such as streaming and gaming videos to showcase new features or performance benchmarks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in gaming PC products.
  • 8+ years as a dedicated PC gaming enthusiast or professional gamer.
  • Experience in game development with proficiency in game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as C++ and Python, particularly with Visual Studio.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing AI algorithms, including pathfinding and decision-making.
  • A genuine passion for gaming and a thorough understanding of game mechanics and player dynamics.
  • Ability to create engaging processes that foster dialogue and learning among community members.
  • Familiarity with gaming PC technology and hardware integrated with AI solutions.
  • Experience conducting industry-standard gaming benchmarks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of various game launchers and AAA titles.
  • Capability to assemble a gaming PC from the ground up.
  • Understanding of PC gaming accessories.
