Position Overview:
TechFlow, Inc. is seeking a Water Quality Control Specialist responsible for managing treatment facility machinery and equipment to ensure the purification and clarification of water for both human consumption and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage electric motors, pumps, and valves to control the flow of untreated water into the treatment facility.
- Administer specified quantities of chemicals such as chlorine, ammonia, and lime to disinfect and clarify water.
- Initiate mixing processes to ensure effective chemical treatment and facilitate the settling of impurities.
- Monitor and adjust controls to maintain optimal flow rates and pressure levels.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of tanks and filter beds, utilizing backwashing techniques.
- Perform water quality testing to assess acidity, color, and impurity levels using various analytical instruments.
- Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills:
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment relevant to the role.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Capable of executing tasks efficiently under challenging conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and materials.
- Experience operating heavy machinery and industrial tools.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must hold an ADEQ Class 2 water treatment certification.
- Valid driver's license without restrictions.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
- U.S. citizenship required for access to specific facilities.

- Reliable transportation and communication methods.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and periodic evaluations.
- Ability to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Capable of working in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in water treatment system control.
- Class B Commercial Driver's License.
