Caregiver - Dementia Support Specialist

As a Caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide personalized care and support to seniors in their own homes. Our clients are facing various challenges due to dementia, and we need compassionate individuals like you to help them maintain their independence and dignity.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide assistance with daily living activities, including hygiene care, toileting, feeding, and mobility support. You will also be responsible for light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to doctor appointments. We encourage our caregivers to get creative and engage our clients in activities that stimulate their minds and bring joy to their lives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification and at least one year of documented healthcare experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Additionally, you must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. We value safety and require all caregivers to undergo regular TB skin tests or chest X-rays. Non-certified applicants will not be considered for this position.
