Physician Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Physician Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Assess patients' physical function and develop targeted treatment plans to address their unique needs and goals
• Conduct thorough evaluations, including initial assessments, daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, and discharge planning
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with industry developments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental standards

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a Doctorate degree
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where you will be practicing
• Completed CEU requirements in your state (NY, NJ)
• Valid CPR certification
• Experience with EMR software, preferred
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills
