Job Title: Skating and Hockey Assistant

Join Olmsted Medical as a Skating and Hockey Assistant, where you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our athletes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for observing and adjusting the skating mechanics of our athletes, as well as identifying and building relationships with local market groups to promote our programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Skating and Hockey Development: Educate athletes by targeting their specific training needs and recruiting, training, and overseeing hockey athletes.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain professional relationships with athletes and identify and build relationships with local market groups to promote SMAP programs.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate with OMC staff to ensure a strong service line and team approach, and ensure scheduling and maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the hockey training area/facility.
  • Training and Development: Measure pre- and post-program assessments, and ensure that athletes are receiving the best possible training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Strong background and experience in hockey, with junior or college hockey playing experience preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS certification.
