About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient operating room environment, adhering to aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and materials for various surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Participate in maintaining a sterile, dry, and unobstructed field during procedures.
  • Assist with patient positioning, transporting, and lifting, while utilizing proper technique.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
